PVI received "World Finance Insurance Company of the year 2010 Award" at London Stock Exchange

On August 17th 2010, at London Stock Exchange, PVI's C.E.O Nguyen Anh Tuan as PVI representative honourably received Insurance Company of the year 2010 Award from World Finance magazine. Up to now, PVI has been the only Vietnam non-life insurance company winning this prize.

The explosion of the drilling rig Deepwarter Horizon in Gulf of Mexico, off the coast Louisiana, USA on 20th April has caused unbelievably large damage to British Petroleum (BP), one of the world’s largest energy companies. After the disaster, according to Daily Finance, BP brand has lost virtually all of its value, from USD 20bn, as of January 01, 2010, to zero at June 30, 2010.

World Finance, a London-based financial magazine, has announced PVI as the World Finance Insurance Company of the year 2010 of Vietnam. The official awarding ceremony will take place at London Stock Exchange in the middle of August, 2010 and be published on World Finance magazine in September, 2010.
